I Just Want to be Your Everything - The Bee Gees ft. Andy Gibb

midterms week here at ICLP. we’ve been going to the library after dinner for 3 days straight now, not really getting much done in there except napping, goofing around, and taking pictures but the 2 exams i’ve already had were okay in difficulty, nothing compared to yao laoshi’s exams from 2nd year chinese at UCLA T_T. but tomorrow is taiwanese and i’m prob gonna get ownedd b/c i suck at differentiating the 7 tones.

capital one sent me a rare email reminding me to pay my bills, and the statement had quite a bit of red text telling me “You’re behind by two payments. Let’s talk. If you’re having financial difficulties and can’t make your minimum payment - we want to help. Let’s work together to find a solution.” hahaha first of all, thanks for sending me this false show of concern AFTER i’d already gotten behind in payments and billing me for an atrocious sum of late fees. second of all, does leaving the country count as a legitimate excuse for neglecting my payments? lol =(

so waht’s been going on here ??? i don’t really know. the day-to-day has become more or less routine. i’ve visited my gramma and aunt in nangang twice now. they have servants, which i am unaccustomed to. like am i supposed to say thank you when they run to bring me tea and snacks and fresh fruit after my gramma orders them to? awk.

the weather has turned cold and wet. i broke my $100 blue umbrella. i’m slowly getting sick again. or rather i never got better. or i gave it to connie and she’s now giving it back to me. i washed two pairs of shoes i brought back from the US and they dried so slowly that they are now dry but smell of dank mold or something. i bought two new pairs of shoes, one pair the most money i’ve ever shelled out for a single pair of shoes (lacoste, hi-top, brown leather, grey faux-wool), the other cheap by american standards (hi-top, maroon, canvas). this blog is boring but there doesnt seem to be other things to report on..

we’re getting 5 work days off for thanksgiving break, 9 consecutive days including the weekends before and after. many ppl are leaving the country. ppl are thinking of going to thailand, south korea. i’ve already done thailand and it is inappropriate to post what i think of the latter country. myy choices are japan or tibet, both of which would cost me a total of about $1000 =/ . alternatively, i could spend 9 days chillin in taipei with fam and friends who have stayed behind, saving a lot of money, and exploring the rest of the island. i still have yet to go to the southern part.. furthest i’ve gone is the middle. iiiidk
